Chhattisgarh Hosts 125th ‘Mann Ki Baat’: PM Modi and CM Sai Highlight Skill, Sports, and Good Governance

Raipur, August 31, 2025. The 125th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s popular monthly radio program “Mann Ki Baat” was broadcast live today at the grand Convention Center of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Industrial & Trade Complex in Nava Raipur.

The event was attended by Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel, Industries Minister Lakhan Dewangan, Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma, Skill Development and Employment Minister Guru Khushwant Saheb, MLA Indra Kumar Sahu, and Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Industrial Development Corporation Rajeev Agrawal, along with a large number of public representatives and citizens.

Addressing the nation, Prime Minister Modi said that mutual support and unity during natural calamities reflect the true strength of India. He emphasized that the collective spirit and cooperation shown during crises define India’s culture and social consciousness.

He further underlined the importance of sports not only as a means of fitness but also as a foundation for self-confidence and leadership. The Prime Minister urged the youth to actively participate in sports to make their lives and the nation more vibrant.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that “Mann Ki Baat” provides new inspiration and positive energy to the people of Chhattisgarh every month. He stressed that the program strengthens national consciousness, optimism, and social harmony across society.

The Chief Minister also shared insights from his recent visit to Japan and South Korea, highlighting that new collaborations in skill development, artificial intelligence, and electronics will create fresh employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for the youth of Chhattisgarh. He said this will mark a new chapter of industrial investment and skill empowerment in the state.

Referring to Chhattisgarh’s Silver Jubilee Year, CM Sai stated that building a developed state is possible only when every citizen fulfills their role with honesty and responsibility. He added that through joint efforts of the government and the people, the state can reach new heights.

Concluding his address, he described the Prime Minister’s message as a source of inspiration for every citizen and called upon people to collectively contribute towards building a prosperous, clean, and well-governed Chhattisgarh.
