Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has announced financial assistance for families affected by the recent ropeway accident at Khallari Mata Temple in Mahasamund district. The state government has decided to provide ₹5 lakh to the family of the deceased devotee and ₹50,000 to each injured person to support them during this difficult time.
Expressing deep condolences to the bereaved family, the Chief Minister said the government stands firmly with the victims and will ensure all possible assistance. He emphasized that the administration is committed to providing relief and support to those impacted by the tragedy.
The Chief Minister also stated that a detailed investigation into the incident is currently underway. He assured that strict action will be taken against those found responsible, and no negligence will be tolerated in ensuring public safety at religious and tourist sites.
