Alliance Air has announced the resumption of flight services on the Jagdalpur–Raipur sector, bringing major relief to passengers in the Bastar region. The service will restart from March 31 under the summer schedule and will connect Hyderabad, Jagdalpur, and Raipur through a regular flight route.
For several months, air services on this route had remained suspended, forcing travelers to rely on long road and rail journeys. Following repeated demands from local residents and public representatives, the airline has decided to restore operations, which is expected to significantly improve regional connectivity.
Improved Connectivity for Bastar
The resumed service is likely to benefit not only passengers but also trade, tourism, and administrative movement in the Bastar region. With Jagdalpur now connected to Raipur and Hyderabad, access to major cities and onward travel options will become more convenient. Officials believe the move will support economic and tourism growth in the region.

Jagdalpur–Jabalpur–Delhi Flight Suspended
While the new service brings positive news, Alliance Air has temporarily suspended the Jagdalpur–Jabalpur–Delhi route. The last flight on this sector was recently operated, after which the service was put on hold for the time being.
The restart of the Jagdalpur–Raipur flight is seen as a significant step toward strengthening Bastar’s air connectivity. With Raipur acting as a major hub, passengers will find it easier to travel to other cities, and aviation experts suggest that more regional routes, including connections to cities like Rewa, could be considered in the future.
